Primary Election — August 5
The Primary Election will be August 5. Polls will open at 7:00 am and close at 8:00 pm. Those voters who will need an absentee ballot must submit a written request with a valid signature to the Township Clerk. Applications and ballots will be available during the following times:
- Monday 9 am - 3 pm
- Tuesday Noon - 3 pm
- Wednesday 9 am - 3 pm & 7 pm - 8:30 pm
- Thursday 11 am - 3 pm
- Friday 10 am -1 pm
Lake Township Annual Cleanup Days
Dates: Saturday, June 28, 2008, and Saturday, August 23, 2008.
Time: 8:00 AM — 12:00 PM
Location: Lake Township Hall, M-22 and the Platte River (enter from the north driveway)
Note: All Loose Items Must Be In Bags or Boxes!
Residents are Expected to Assist on Unloading...unless they are physically unable to do so. Thank you for your cooperation. No commercial or contractor dumping is permitted.
Items Not Accepted:
Automotive batteries and tires, any chemicals or hazardous waste, motor oil, paint thinners, and yard waste. Concrete, cement, refrigerators with Freon are also not acceptable. Recyclable items should be taken to the regular recycling sites, Lake Township Hall or Frankfort, on scheduled days and times.
