Lake Township Annual Clean Up Days – 2017
Usually held on the second Saturdays in June and August each year.
Dates / times:
- June 10, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 12 Noon (or until both trucks are full)
- August 12, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 12 Noon (or until both trucks are full)
Location:
Lake Township Hall, M-22 and the Platte River. Clean Up Day participants should enter from the south driveway, there will be a sign.
Unloading:
- Residents are expected to assist on unloading unless they are physically unable to do so. Thank you for your cooperation. No commercial or contractor dumping is permitted.
- We are always looking for volunteers to help with the unloading, as well! Please contact the office if you can help or for more information.
About Items:
- All loose items must be in bags or boxes!
- Items not accepted – automotive batteries and tires, any chemicals or hazardous waste, motor oil, paint thinners, and yard waste. Concrete, cement, refrigerators with Freon are also not acceptable. Recyclable items should be taken to the county's recycling sites.
